Day 39 Till I Die

Hello Love, how was your day?

I was pretty busy today, but it was so much fun! I had a movie date with my friend, R. We went to see the sequel to Sayap Sayap Patah.  It had a different story from the first one, and we were curious to see it. We decided to go today because it was a holiday for her.

This morning, I wrote an article for today's post. Afterward, I ate sardines for breakfast to keep my energy up for the cinema. I had to take public transport, so I needed the fuel!

The movie started at 1:15 pm. The cinema isn't far from my house; I just took a motorbike to the station. Then, I took the train four stops and walked about ten minutes to the mall.  It was sunny and hot today!

I arrived at the cinema before my friend. I didn't expect to see so many people there. I saw a large group of women who were going to see a movie together.

After R arrived, we got our tickets and bought some food and drinks for the cinema. We got there earlier than the movie started, and it was lunchtime, so we decided to grab a snack beforehand. We got some french fries, sausages, and otak-otak. We ate them together.

When it was almost movie time, we went back to the cinema, got our drinks and popcorn, and went into the theater. Not many people were watching the movie; maybe twenty seats were filled.

Many couples were there.  R and I, being single, watched the movie together. Haha! Several other women were in the theater, too. I had a bit of an annoying experience though. A group of women sitting across from us were very noisy. They talked loudly, played on their phones, and so on. I tried to ignore them and enjoy the movie.

Afterward, we walked around the mall. We bought some things at Hypermart; I got a chocolate that R recommended. Then, we had an early dinner at Solaria. We ordered Nasi Goreng Teri Sambal Hijau and Mie Goreng Seafood and mixed them together. It was delicious, but we couldn't finish it because we were so full!

Do you think we went straight home after dinner? No! I wanted to find a bottle for my soy sauce, so we went to Mr. DIY. I found the bottle, but we decided to explore more because the store was so big and had so many interesting things. I managed to stick to only buying the bottle, though!

Finally, we went home. We walked to the station, but before that, I showed R a fried chicken place I really like, and we got some before taking the train.

We had different routes home, so we parted ways at the station. The train was packed and crowded.  A man behind me leaned on me, which I really didn't like; it was heavy!  I just held my ground until my stop, even though my breath got heavy and I felt a bit panicky.

I arrived home safely, ate my chicken, and now I'm writing my journal.

It was a busy day, right? But I loved it! I felt refreshed, talked a lot with my friend, and we shared so much. We're planning a trip together, but we haven't decided when yet.  I hope we can make it happen.

That's all for today, Love. See you if there's a tomorrow.
