Hello, my love,
Today was another unplanned day. Last night, I considered various destinations, but couldn't decide where to go.
This morning, after a 45-minute workout, I messaged a friend to see if she had any plans. Luckily, she was free, so I decided to visit her.
I showered, got ready, and go to station by motorcycle. The roads were surprisingly empty, leading me to believe the station and train would be similarly quiet—but that was incorrect. The station was crowded, with many children and family.
I boarded another new train. It was so packed I couldn't get a seat. Before reaching my destination, I spoke with a security guard about the new trains; he was so enthusiastic in his explanation that I felt bad having to cut our conversation short to get off.
To reach my friend's house, I had to change lines twice, but to avoid this, I took the Airport Rail Link from Manggarai station; it's more convenient and comfortable.
Finally, I arrived at her place, and we ate together. She'd prepared a delicious meat and vegetable dish.
I ordered a drink and snack via Gojek, but it was a bit disappointing; the taste wasn't what we expected. Her cooking, however, was fantastic.
After a long chat, I decided to head home because the sky was darkening, and there was thunder; a heavy downpour seemed imminent. Luckily, I reached the station before the rain started.
I took the Airport Rail Link back to Manggarai, then the Bogor Line home. Thankfully, I got a seat and even managed a short nap on the way.
My mom called to ask if I wanted some rendang since she had so much meat from the qurban. She wanted to send some but needed my confirmation first; I said yes, please.
That's it for today. It was truly a random day, wasn't it? Haha!
Oh, there's one more thing! I made a video about the old church in Bogor, and I'm so happy it's gotten so many views—I didn't expect that!
See you again tomorrow, if there is one.
