Day 73 Till I Die

June 12th, 2025

Hello, my love,

After taking my depression medication last night, I woke up feeling like an addict—ironically, it's supposed to improve my sleep! I woke up several times and had a poor night's rest.

My mother updated me on my father's condition and said I didn't need to rush home. To be honest, I don't think I'm well enough to travel right now either.

The construction noise was still unbearable today, so I decided to go out. I debated between the library and the mall, eventually choosing the mall.

I spent about three hours at a café, from 10 AM to 1 PM. I wrote two article reviews, drank some green tea, and ate a bread roll.

The café wasn't perfectly quiet, but the noise level was more balanced and consistent, unlike the sporadic, thunderous construction noise at home. The café was much more soothing.

Afterward, I had a late lunch at my usual restaurant but ordered something different: squid rice and fish cake.

I was a little annoyed because my food arrived cold and took a long time. The table next to me received their food first, even though I ordered before them. I considered leaving a comment on Google reviews, but I was too tired.

I wandered around the mall for a while, unsure what to do, just trying to kill time before heading home. Carrying my heavy bag made my shoulder ache! Haha.

On my way home, I bought lemonade and dinner. Time for a rest.

By the way, I finally figured out where the burned paper came from. Someone has been burning leaves near our neighborhood, and pieces blew onto my terrace, causing air pollution. Mystery solved!

That's all for today. See you again tomorrow, if there is one.
