Hello, my love,
Today was a rollercoaster of emotions. I tried to stay home, but the construction noise was still deafening. I wanted to visit a friend, but she was busy and didn't respond to my messages or calls.
I got ready to go out, but I didn't know where to go. I turned the music up to drown out the noise, but that only worsened my mood—they started banging on the walls even harder! Haha.
Finally, I gave up and went out, taking a train to Bogor. I still had no destination in mind when I suddenly remembered a video idea.
I filmed the train driver operating the train. A child, who I think might be autistic, was standing nearby. He asked if I knew the driver, and we talked for a while, despite the language barrier. He talked about the train horn, the driver's cap and shoes, and what happens when other trains pass. He also liked my phone stickers. My phone grip was broken, and he even tried to fix it.
We bonded quickly. His mother smiled at me. When we reached our destination, he took my hand and wanted to get off together. It was so cute. We said goodbye.
I randomly bought a snack and wandered around the station, still unsure where to go. I decided to take public transport to Botani Square, although the driver misled me a bit! Haha.
It was lunchtime when I arrived at Botani Square. The food court was packed. I ordered nasi goreng gila (crazy fried rice), and it was spicy.
I asked people if there were any empty seats until I found one near two ladies who were chatting. After they left, another family—a mother and two daughters—sat down. The daughter asked her mother what to eat, and I offered suggestions about my food because she looked at me. Hehe. Another random moment.
With plenty of time left after lunch, I went to Starbucks and relaxed for a while. I wrote some of my story while enjoying my chocolate drink.
Surrounded by people, I observed them, each with their own story. The staff was friendly—I really liked it there.
After finishing my story, I headed home, but not before filming more footage for my video. I walked around, getting shots from various locations, even filming some inside the train.
After editing, adding narration and music, I really like the video. I might use it as the intro for my video series. I'm still deciding on the exact type of videos I want to make.
My goal is for these videos to be inspiring and to serve as a record of my journey. I hope to create meaningful content.
That's all for today. See you again tomorrow, if there is one.
